Assist the Director in managing the university photo library; operate the digital asset management system to curate the universityâs photo library/archive.

Make selections from shoots and determine images to be added or removed.

Retouch and adjust photos as needed to create the best possible final image.

Manage Photographic Services in the absence of the Director: Use sound professional judgment to make all appropriate decisions in order to maintain schedule, status and quality standards, including overseeing the work of freelance photographers as necessary.

Assist the Director with organizing and maintaining photographic equipment and shared studio space.

Stay current with trends in photographic style and photo technologies (including use of Photoshop and other software), advising the director of opportunities related to such.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field and two years of experience required. Must be an experienced photographer with knowledge of the latest digital photography and videography techniques and equipment; a thorough understanding of all photo concepts and equipment including lighting, lenses, formats, and internet image standards. Ability to lift and move photographic equipment up to 50 pounds. Corporate or educational experience preferred. Must provide a link to a photography portfolio on your resume.
A Criminal Background Investigation is required for the hired candidate and the results may impact employment.
