Admissions Director/Clinical Liason

Ryder’s Health Management, a family owned management company has an exciting opportunity for a full time Admission Director/Clinical Liaison to support transitions through our continuum of care including: Skilled-Nursing, Home Health/Companion Care Services, and Outpatient Rehab.

This position requires an individual with excellent organization, communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of the changing health care landscape, healthcare marketing, hospital and community rounding, management of census and quality mix development, sense of urgency and follow through skills a must. This is a salaried/exempt position.

Qualifications:

· extensive clinical background, licensed nurse (preferred).

· Must have experience in facility marketing /business development/Admission compliance areas.

· Exceptional communicate skills – both verbally and in writing.

· Must have excellent presentation and organizational skills, have a sense of urgency and follow through skills.

· Knowledge of closing a sale’s agreement.

· Experience in electronic referrals.

· Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers and facility staff in the performance of duties.

· Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing the admission process within a nursing facility.

· Candidate must have availability to work days, nights, weekends and Holidays – remotely as the need arises.

Educational Requirements

· Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma.

· Current Connecticut State license of LPN or higher

· Must have excellent oral and written skills.

· Possess strong organizational skills.
