Concordia University seeks applications for the full-time, 12-month position of Administrative Assistant Office of the President. This position provides administrative, clerical and organizational support to the Executive Assistant to the President in support of the Office of the President. The individual must be able to perform in a highly professional manner, organize personal workflow, follow directions, take initiative and manage support functions for timely attainment of objectives and outcomes. This position is located on the Mequon, Wisconsin campus.
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with constituents, students, faculty, staff and other visitors
- Perform general office responsibilities including typing, meeting scheduling, processing of expenditures, and mail as directed by the Executive Assistant to the President
- Handle travel arrangements for the President’s office
- Enter and maintain database information relating to President’s Office and boards
- Provide support for various campus events and programs on behalf of the President’s Office
- Assist in support of the boards
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Above-average proficiency in office practices and Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint
- Technology comfort and aptitude for usage of integrated database system and programs such as Constant Contact and Google Sheets.
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends for special events
Education and Experience
A high school diploma or GED and two years of administrative office experience is required. Previous work experience in an academic setting and/or with college-aged students is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Starting range is dependent upon on individual qualifications and experience. Concordia health, disability and retirement plan enrollment is available to full-time employees and their eligible dependents. Tuition benefits are available for this position.
