The VP of Professional Services will

  • Own all aspects of the Global Professional Services organization that is responsible for providing scoping, architecture, design, application development, solution implementation including configuration and customization, strategic consulting, advisory and managed services

  • Evolve the overall Professional Services go-to-market strategy

  • Drive organizational structure, management, and operations in relation to client success and key business and financial performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Responsible for Global Professional Services Profit and Loss (P&L) and related forecasting and pipeline management activities including (but not limited to) attainment of quota / revenue targets and net margins on a quarterly and annual basis

  • Evaluate and develop deployment methods and procedures to ensure scalable and repeatable service delivery

  • Launch and grow new practices and solutions

  • Develop and implement methodologies and processes in collaboration with sales and practice leaders to ensure that deliverables are achieved on-time and within budget while maintaining customer satisfaction e.g. transactional and relational Net Promoter Score (NPS) metrics

  • Work with Sales and business development teams to drive field sales and business development efforts

  • Work in partnership with partners to identify, evaluate, and build a world-class network of service delivery partnerships to scale and expand Information Builders’ service delivery capabilities in the marketplace

  • Negotiate contracts with customer and/or service delivery partners to support of engagement success

  • Lead and manage multi-tiers of leadership (e.g. Directors, Managers, etc.) within the Professional Services organization

  • Define and execute enablement framework in support of Professional Services consultant certifications for our core solutions

  • Serve as executive sponsor on strategic customer opportunities

  • Serve as evangelist for Sphere’s service delivery model and success in the marketplace

  • Serve as a trusted, strategic business and technology advisor to our clients

  • Revenue: Close new and recurring business with accounts of all sizes. Develop relationships with key customers. Provide offerings that support all types of customers in all stages of their lifecycle.

  • Leadership: Build, develop and retain high performing teams that lead positive contributions throughout the company.

  • Strategy Development: Be a key member of the Leadership Team for Professional Services, developing strategies to achieve company goals.

  • Proven. You have successfully built and led multi regional services leadership teams, and have a track record of success in sustaining, maintaining and building revenue streams

  • Service Minded: You deliver customer engagements, through your teams, like you expect to receive it; with excellence

  • Cross-Cultural Leadership: Must be willing to travel regionally and globally

  • Domain. Experience with analytics, enterprise architecture, software engineering, data, databases or business intelligence preferred. Bachelor’s Degree with a technical or business focus preferred.

  • Excellent Communication. You know what to say and more importantly, how to say it. You know how to have real business conversations with sales leaders.
