Ivy Healthcare Group is currently recruiting an experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse, BSN preferred, for the position of Regional Director of Clinical Operations for Ivy Healthcare’s Skilled Nursing Facilities. We are a growing company who is looking for an excellent DOC Operations to join our growing team!
The ideal candidate will have 3 – 5 years of experience in Nursing Consulting and Long Term Care. Experience as a DON is preferred. Previous multi-facility experience required.
The Regional Director of Clinical Operations is a key management position whose responsibilities will include:
- Evaluate facility compliance to clinical policy, procedure, and care.
- Visit facilities weekly for intervention, audit and training.
- Monitor readiness for State Survey and assist during surveys
- Aid in the Plan of Correction process
- Ensure quality resident care is consistently delivered across all locations
- Develop and implement new company policies and programs regarding best clinical practices and resident care plans
- Oversee training and development of Directors of Nursing and clinical leadership team
- Serves as a clinical resource and foster a positive work environment that supports and motivates the clinical team
- Maintain a high level of clinical competency, including on-going awareness of clinical best practices to align regulatory requirements and organizations strategic plans
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team and report directly to CEO/COO
- Communicate with families, residents and physicians as needed
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations at all locations

Job Requirements:
- Current RN license, BSN preferred
- At least 3 – 5 years experience in Long Term Care and Nursing Consulting
- Ability to travel throughout region (Iowa, North Carolina, and Montana)
- Must visit facilities at least once per month (more if necessary)
- Previous multi-facility experience required
- DON experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and oversee functions at multiple facilities on a daily basis
- Must maintain current CPR certification
