The Project Manager will manage one or more construction projects simultaneously, using acquired knowledge and industry experience to complete all project requirements on time, within budget, and to a level of quality that exceeds the expectations of the client and Company management. The PM will work as part of a team and may have supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Managing different project delivery methods
- Planning and scheduling projects
- Preparing and processing subcontracts and purchase orders
- Scheduling, attending and recording project meetings
- Preparing change orders
- Managing subcontractors and material suppliers
- Working closely with project superintendents/forepersons
- Reviewing daily reports
- Cost coding
- Reviewing job cost forecasting reports
- Approving subcontractor requisitions and reviewing owner invoices
- Preparing/overseeing project close-out
- Attaining substantial and final completion on time and within budget
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 4+ years of project management experience in a construction firm
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Construction Management/Science, or equivalent work experience
- Working knowledge of contractual documents, plans, specifications and construction methods
- Strong computer skills, proficient with MS Office and MS Project
- Experience using project management software, such as Prolog or Procore
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze and solve problems, make project decisions
- Professional demeanor
- Must successfully pass a post-offer physical exam, drug screen and background check
