POSITION: Marketing Project Manager (Part-Time)
Description of Duties:
Write new releases, press releases, online blog content, and advertising content. Develop facility and event promotion using all available resources, including but not limited to print, radio, and social media. Create and publish content on the web including some video and audio elements. Develop a content calendar for distribution of social media and digital marketing content. Assist with digital PR and advertising campaign tracking. Maintain a strong working knowledge of social media best practices. Schedule and book meetings. Workshops, teleconferencing, and other gatherings for the events/programs. Evaluate the event/ programs performance and effectiveness and establish sound metrics to measure the success of the project. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Multi-Media. Three years’ experience in higher education and or business community. Strong organizational, interpersonal and written communications skills. Proficiency with computers, technology and software.
Desired Qualifications:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marketing, Journalism, Multi-Media. Five years’ experience in higher education or business community. Previous record of program development. Strong organizational, interpersonal and written communication skills. Proficiency with computers, technology and software.
