Director of Maintenance Services demonstrates great customer service by mentoring Villa’s three core principles of Exceptional Care, Passionate Service and Unexpected Luxury in all of his\her job duties and responsibilities.

Responsible for overall maintenance of facility and maintenance budget.

Responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs inside and outside the facility to provide a safe, attractive and orderly environment for the benefit, use, enjoyment and protection of residents, staff and visitors.

Conducts routine tests and inspections on various facility systems such as the emergency generator, sprinkler systems (outside vendor), door alarms, nurse call system, hood and duct systems (vendor), and hot water system.

Conducts fire drills monthly. Initiates and updates the fire and disaster preparedness plans. Follows all Villa policies and procedures.


REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Oversees Maintenance Assistant(s) where applicable.


Other Duties:
This job description is not intended to be all inclusive, and the employee will perform other related duties as assigned. This organization reserves the right to revise the essential position functions as the need arises. Performs other duties as directed by facility management. Assists in orientation and training of employees as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned and consistent with the level of preparation and experience. Works overtime, holiday and weekend hours as scheduled.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


Experience:
Prior maintenance experience required. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
