Responsibilities

The CSG HESF team is seeking a Project Lead. The selected candidiate will serve as the project lead and direct interface to the International Space Station (ISS) Program for Environmental Control and Life Support System (ECLSS) air systems sustaining hardware.

Key Functions

  • Provide regular status to engineering and program management to a variety of NASA control boards and forums.
  • Manage a budget that includes engineering support contractors and NASA facility resources.
  • Manage project schedules and priorities.
  • Monitor and independently assess the technical content of assigned projects.
  • Coordinate with technical experts and various levels of management.
  • Integrate tasks with other programs as appropriate.
  • Work directly with the engineering support contractor for the subject hardware.
  • Coordinate with discipline experts in EEE parts, EMI, stress, safety, WSFT, etc. as appropriate
Qualifications

Required

  • Experience with spacecraft environmental control and life support functions
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or related field
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple organizations
  • Ability to develop and clearly communicate complex information

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with the ISS Program, and experience presenting technical, cost, and schedule information to NASA personnel
  • Familiarity with ISS ECLSS air systems including Ammonia Monitoring Kit, Velocicalc, Ammonia Scrubber, and Emergency Mask
