Summary:
The Director position is passionate about the patient/guest experience and committed to improving lives. Fosters a regional/organization-wide approach in order to achieve sustainable results.

The Director is responsible for system-wide/regional patient experience programs, initiatives, training and interventions focused on ensuring that our patients’ experience is consistent, seamless, and extraordinary. The Director in partnership with key leaders enhances the patient experience environment as well as provides real-time coaching and education. Provides direct feedback to leadership regarding implementation of process changes to achieve and sustain patient experience best practices. Assists managers and staff with communication and integration of improvement efforts. Identifies opportunities and barriers to change; addresses issues appropriately to facilitate and sustain improved patient satisfaction outcomes.

FTE: 1.000000 (FTE x 80 = hours per pay period)

Responsibilities:
Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.

Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.

Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.

Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the departments operate in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum Experience: 5 years of relevant experience.
