Director of Operations

Well established fun consumer product company seeking an experienced operations/office manager to join our small USA based team.

Our business is growing, high paced and dynamic, so you must be able to pivot and react to changing priorities and responsibilities. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills in addition to traditional office competencies. We work with overseas factories and large retail chains.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of at least 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, and order management. In addition to understanding compliance and working with retail chains.

Responsibilities:

• Order management, processing.
• Book shipments with international freight forwarders and tracking domestic shipments to ensure deliveries are made within the given ship window per PO.
• Monitor and track production with several factories based out of both China & India.
• General office managing and duties.

• Conduct weekly meetings with Management to provide feedback and status of the current export and domestic shipments.
• Manage suppliers to ensure the best quality is adhered to, this includes proofing packaging, checking packing per type of product to make sure there is low to no breakage during transit, and ensuring the finished product is suitable to be sent out to retailers.
• improve on internal operations and processes, continuously thinking of ways to increase efficiency within our supply chain, particularly as the business scales.

Qualifications
Fluent in English
A BS recommended.
A minimum of 7 years of working experience and demonstrated proficiency with MS Office/Office 365 with particular advance experience in Excel, QuickBooks Enterprise, Dropbox and new related business software that can streamline the system.

Candidates residing in the San Fernando Valley are strongly preferred and in state residents only will be considered. Some flexibility and light travel could be required.
