Director of nursing

Responsibilities: 1. Supervising and coordinating the smooth and effective daily operation of the Dialysis Facility in order to maintain a safe, efficient environment to provide optimum patient care.2. Quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, staff development, business management, teamwork, culture, and employee satisfaction within a dialysis unit.3. Understanding, supporting, interpreting, and implementing the philosophy and policies of the corporation.4. Assure the direction of assigned areas in accordance and compliance with standards outlined in the facility procedure manuals, as well as regulations set forth by the company, state and federal agencies.Qualifications:

1. Current active RN State of Florida licensure.2. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Baccalaureate degree in nursing or health related field preferred).3. Minimum of 2 years experience in general nursing care including minimum of 1 year of dialysis experience and 6 months in a dialysis self-training activity where applicable.4. Prior supervisory and/or management experience preferred.5. Certification in Nephrology Nursing preferred.6. Excellent knowledge of water systems, bypass, and emergency water system procedures preferred.7. ICU/CCU experience desirable.8. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, problem solving, and general management skills.9. Maintenance of current CPR Healthcare Recognition according to the American Heart Association
