Director of Business Development

The Pinnacle Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is currently seeking an applicant with skilled nursing experience for its

Director of Business Development Position

Primary responsibilities:

Maintain a thorough knowledge of the facility’s service lines, clinical program niches and CMS Star rating

Develop relationships with a growing base of referral sources leading to a consistent flow of quality referrals to the facility, through professional and community referral sources, including but not limited to hospitals, physicians, home health and hospice companies

Develop, manage and routinely contact potential referrals, families, guardians or advocates,

Coordinate special events and act as liaison with other community organizations, area hospitals, physicians and participate in community committees/events

Lead marketing planning committee consisting of interdisciplinary team members

Complete monthly reports, create and implement a Marketing Plan

Participate in relevant facility meetings as well as company Territory Management Meetings

Ideal candidates:

• Two years’ experience in health care sales, specifically in skilled nursing setting
• Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care Insurances
• Knowledge of Admission criteria for State of Ohio
