MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Construction

  • Manage the completion of projects, plan reviews, and field requests keeping appropriate individuals, including internal and external partners, advised of current status and critical issues to ensure customers’ needs are met.
  • Conduct pre-construction walkthrough and site surveys prior to construction start
  • Order all required materials and interact with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Inspect the work of each trade and confirm that not only the quality of the work is up to standard, but that the work is being built in accordance with the plans and specification.
  • Ensure that the project maintains the required schedule by organizing, planning, monitoring, and inspecting work.
  • Maintain and enforce safety regulations and building code requirements.
  • Organize and run progress, Quality Control and safety meetings with in house trade staff, subcontractors and client.
  • Perform Quality Control preparatory meetings and inspection.
  • Assist with project estimates, bid packages and schedule preparation and budgets. Conduct weekly update conference calls with cross functional partners and field personnel
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate the work requirements with and various staff and subcontractors.
  • Ability to work flexible hours in order to meet deadlines.

Administration

  • Maintaining composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
  • Required ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Handling and being exposed to sensitive and confidential information.

Other

  • Ability to work flexible hours in order to meet deadlines.
  • Special projects as needed
