Qualifications and Skills Required:
A minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education semester units (ECE) 6 administration units.
A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a preschool setting
Caring and nurturing attitude towards children
Excellent communication skills
If offered the position, you must provide:
A current TB test
Proof of immunity against Pertussis, Measles, and the Flu
A background check and fingerprint clearance (as required by the Department of Social Services)
CPR and First Aid certification
Some of a Preschool Teacher’s Job Responsibilities Include:
-Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with children and parents/caregivers
-Create activities that are fun and educational for the children
-Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child
-Deliver reports on potential concerns about students to management as needed
-Manage day-to-day classroom activities including structured lessons plans, free play, bathroom breaks, lunchtime, and rest time for students
