This position will reside in and specifically serve Wake County and areas of North Carolina surrounding Wake County. The Assistant Director of Regional Recruitment represents the admissions office and the University within Wake County, NC and surrounding areas without any supervision and must make decisions to conduct oneself appropriately and responsibly, convey accurate information about the University, admissions, financial aid, and majors to the public, give recommendations to and counsel prospective students, families, school counselors and other public audiences. In addition, Assistant Directors plan, implement and administer programs and initiatives designed to target, recruit and enroll new undergraduates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master?s Degree preferred. Bachelor?s Degree required with equivalent experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
