The Assistant Director of Housing and Residence Life for- Housing Services supervises 2 Full-Time Administrative Support professional and 1 Graduate Assistant. Additionally, the Assistant Director will provide departmental leadership for ongoing student development and education of Housing Services? policies and procedures. The Assistant Director is a member of the department?s central leadership team and is responsible for providing departmental leadership with emergency management and crisis intervention. The Assistant Director reports to the Associate Director of Housing and Residence Life.
Minimum Qualifications:
1.Completion of a Master?s Degree in student personnel, higher education administration, or a related field 2. At least three years experience in residence hall administration 3.Experience in conflict resolution, mediation, and application of student development theory in a residence hall setting 4.Experience working autonomously and the ability to exercise excellent judgement 5.Desire to work with and address the needs of a diverse student population 6.Demonstrated organizational and leadership abilities 7. Experience developing departmental processes and project coordination
