Location:
TBA- Must attend all camp orientation sessions and work the full eight weeks of day camp.
- Attend and be on time to daily morning meetings
- Be prompt to all scheduled activities
- Be active in all the daily activities, and teach and encourage children to participate in all the activities
- Responsible for arrival and dismissal of campers
- Plan and lead recreational activities in a safe, fun and innovative manner
- Follow-through with all other duties as assigned by Recreation Supervisor
- Responsible for the care and upkeep of all supplies, including clean up at end of camp day
- Maintain safety of campers at all times, including pool, bus and field trips
- Communicate with parents, children and other Wilmette Park District staff professionally and consistently
- Attend and participate in required safety training
- Obey all Park District and Departmental safety rules, regulations and procedures applicable to the duties being performed
- Become familiar with safety procedures, including, but not limited to, fire, severe weather and evacuation procedures
- Prepare accident reports on any injured campers and administer First aid as required. Report all accidents to camp parent and Camp Director
- Prepare incident reports when needed. Report all situations to Camp Director

Afternoon Adventure Camp Summary
This camp follows the District 39 Summer Enrichment schedule. Campers will enjoy afternoons filled with games, arts and crafts, sports and much more. The camp will take trips to Gillson Beach, Centennial Family Aquatic Center, bowling and other sites weekly. Campers are between the ages of 6-12 years old. This camp meets at Romona School.

Camp Training and Orientation Dates: May 20 & 27 4:30-9pm, Week of June 8
Camp Dates: Monday, June 15 – Friday, August 7 (8 weeks)
Camp Time: 10:30am-4pm June 15-July 21 & 8am-4pm July 22-August 7

CPI certified
Knowledge to plan a complete curriculum for the camp and understanding of how children interact with counselors and group play
