We are looking for an Activities Director to join our team at our facility.
Requirements: •Candidate must possess excellent customer service skills
Plan and implement individual and group activities
- Assess and complete MDS’s timely and accurately
- Participate in care planning – identifying and documenting the residents’ interest, needs and concerns
- Document all interaction with resident and families
- Participate in IDC
- Plan and conduct Residents’ Council meeting
- Plan and implement evening and weekend functions
- Manage barber and beauty parlor
- Plan and schedule one-on-one visits
- Determine personnel requirements for the department
- Interview, hire and orient new employees to the department
- Develop and implement schedules for the department
- Ensure that procedures are followed in accordance with facility policies and procedures
- Remain positive and caring, and act in the best interest of our patients and facility
Job Type: Full-time Experience: •relevant: 2 years of experience in a recreational program within the last 5 years (Required)
Must be a Licensed Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
