With anticipated growth in 2020 and beyond, we have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Regional Vice President of Operations. This individual is responsible for overall growth and financial success of the assigned hotel portfolio. Ideally based in Philadelphia, the Regional Vice President of Operations will work closely with and supervise property level General Managers. This position is responsible for the overall financial success of each property. The successful candidate will also be responsible for overall property performance and brand compliance while reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a group of full and select service assets and provide leadership.
- Work with property leadership and corporate support teams to drive property revenue.
- Work with property-based and corporate support teams to ensure proper controls are in place to achieve budgeted and forecasted GOP to meet or exceed flow-thru targets.
- Ensure the GM and property-based leaders are properly preserving the assets ensuring cleanliness and condition are in place as well as proper PM programs are in use.
- Assist in overseeing annual operating budget process, reviewing and approving budgets before presentation to the owners.
- Interact with ownership group, be proactive and responsiveness to needs and inquires.
- Review and respond to company performance reports.
- Develop property level General Managers through training and mentorship.
- Develop solutions that will positively affect the overall performance of the hotel assets.
- Participate with business development and ownership meetings.
- Provide counsel to managers
Job Requirements:
- 5-10 years of Hotel General Management experience, multi-unit leadership experience preferred
- Experience working with Hilton, Marriott, and IHG branded hotels
- Experience with directly overseeing full and select service hotels
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, well organized, and results driven professional.
- Ability to meet deadlines
