    Mainstream Media, LLC is Chicago’s premier live streaming production agency. Offering video services around the country, we help educational institutions, non-profits, startups, and venues produce high-quality webcasts so they can connect their content to a global audience. From Fortune 500s to heavy metal musicians, we love helping our clients create live video content that excites, engages, and enriches a global audience.

    We’re looking for a self-driven, responsible, organized Studio Manager (Part-Time, Hourly) who is passionate about providing administrative and logistical support to a young, growing video production agency.

    The Studio Manager is passionate about solving people’s problems before they appear through thoughtful pre-planning and meticulous organization. In collaboration with the Production team and the Managing Director, the Office Manager makes sure that projects are invoiced, payments are collected, books are reconciled, vendors are paid, and equipment is neatly organized.

    Here’s how your responsibilities break down:

    DIGITAL (5-10 hours/month)

    • Update web portfolio with photo and video of recent projects
    • Collect feedback and reviews from clients
    • Manage WordPress website (updating plugins, uploading media, etc.)

    ACCOUNTING (5-10 hours/week)

    • Intake vendor paperwork and upload to ADP
    • Maintain QuickBooks Online and perform monthly reconciliations
    • Submit completed, 100% accurate invoices
    • Track reimbursable project expenses
    • Deposit checks

    OFFICE (5-10 hours/week)

    • Organize office, keeping space clean and organized
    • Manage certificates of insurance and equipment rental requests
    • Assist with check-in and check-out of production equipment, including cameras, lights, audio, computers, and hardware
    • Book travel

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Expertise with QuickBooks Online, ADP, and strong accounting skills
    • Familiarity with WordPress, HTML, CSS
    • Demonstrated ability to self-manage
    • Fearlessness in making decisions, curiosity in discovering new ideas
    • An entrepreneurial mindset: always looking for ways to improve processes, develop new products, or increase capabilities
    • Valid driver’s license
