Sr. Accounting Manager – Finance/Operations

Community Services, Inc. Job Title: Sr. Accounting Manager – Finance & Operations Supervisor: Chief Executive Officer Direct Reports: Financial Analyst, Payroll Clerk, Accounts Payable Clerk, and Data/Clerical Support Technician

General Description:

Responsible for monitoring and oversight of fiscal department and office operations under the direct supervision of the Chief Executive Officer. Duties include serving as primary contact with our centralized fiscal services team, overseeing financial planning and budget development/analysis for the agency/CEO and also working to support Board and committee meetings on a monthly basis, act as liaison for compliance and audit teams, oversee day-to-day fiscal/programmatic operations and manage relationship with outsourced IT provider. Responsible for teaming efforts with Deputy Director/COO, Assistant Director of Community Services Block Grant CSBG Program, Assistant Director of Programs/Services, and Assistant Director of Transportation. Position has room for growth to expand oversight to other lines of business within the agency. Minimum Qualifications: * 5 – 7 years of experience working in a management position in Finance/Accounting with experience using Sage 100 MIP financial software specific to fund accounting MIP/Sage 100 experience required for this position. * Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, and/or business * Certified Public Accountant, MBA, and/or MPA preferred Knowledge Skills and Abilities: * Demonstrated knowledge of general accounting principles and practices * Knowledge of IRS 501c3 Regulations/OMB Circulars specific to non-profit space * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suites specifically Excel To apply to this job, please send resume and salary requirements to dedwards@csicorsicana.org for immediate consideration.
