John B. Sanfilippo and Son, Inc (JBSS), a parent company to Fisher, Orchard Valley Harvest, Hunter Mix and Squirrel Brands that produces nuts and nut-based snacks is looking for an impactful sales leader to join our Consumer Sales Channel in the Sales Director capacity.

Our products are on-trend within growing healthy snack category that compete across the Consumer, Commercial Ingredients and Alternative channels.

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Sales the Sales Director will be responsible for:
  • Leading winning sales initiatives and expanding customer base within entrusted territories while ensuring profitable and consistent sales results.
  • Leading the customer and channel planning for the branded business and regional retail customers.
  • Development and successful execution of sales objectives for the channel.
  • Through cross-functional cooperation responsible for ideation, research and implementation of new sales initiatives.
  • Trade management strategy development and execution.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with strategic customers and business partners.
  • Managing and supporting a team of seasoned and successful Business Managers and Sales Analysts.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:
  • B2B Sales leadership experience with ten plus years calling on retail/grocery customers.
  • In depth knowledge of trade management.
  • Strong network within retail/grocery channel.
  • Solid business and financial acumen.
  • Five plus years of experience managing, leading the annual operating planning and customer planning processes.
  • Five plus years of experience managing and leading sales teams.
