Summary:
The Marketing Director is responsible for developing or updating Marksmen marketing materials, website, advertising and other promotional activities of organization by performing the following duties personally or in coordination with others internal to Marksmen, or vendors hired to assist with same. Plans and directs marketing of organization’s services by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Establish strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for services;
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to support sales and revenue objectives of organization;
- Research, analyze and monitor financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity;
- Develop and manage marketing operating budget;
- Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail;
- Determine agencies and suppliers of record, and negotiate contract terms and conditions for major services, as appropriate;
- Oversee development and production of promotional and collateral materials;
- Develop and recommend service positioning, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share;
- Achieve target profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends;
- Ensure effective control of marketing results, and take corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets;
- Oversee and evaluate market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions;
- Monitor competitive services and marketing activities;
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key community and strategic partners;
- Guide preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management;
- Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all service lines, promotional materials, and events;
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
- Represent company at trade association meetings to promote services.
- Deliver presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives;
- Meet with key clients, assisting representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals;
- Assist other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications;
- Monitor and evaluate the activities and services of the competition

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing (or similar) from an accredited college or university
- Willingness to travel to client locations from time to time
- 7 years or more experience in digital marketing
Computer Skills:
- Highly computer literate
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Proficient in using contact management software
- Proficient in using Customer Relations Management software
