The Maintenance Director is responsible for providing support to U.S. Pipe plants maintenance. This position is responsible for the identifying and managing equipment/assets reliability risks that could adversely affect plants or business operations. The incumbent primarily focuses on developing and implementing a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program with emphasis to plan, schedule, execute and review effectiveness on the five components of TPM:
- Preventive Maintenance
- Predictive Maintenance
- Daily Operation Based Maintenance
- Corrective Maintenance
- Equipment Design/Upgrade for Ease of Maintainability
Incumbent will also partner with maintenance engineering, stores and operations to implement and optimize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) based tools. This position will observe confidentiality of all customer and company information.
- Strong understanding and commitment to safety. Obtained minimum education of a bachelor degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field is required. Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Director and 10 years of maintenance experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Lean Training and/or certification is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and writing communication skills with strong presentation and public speaking skill
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects and meet all required deadlines
- Strong sense of urgency in meeting customer needs
- Must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint software; previous SAP knowledge is a plus
