Full Time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Starting Wage: $33.33
Responsibilities:
- Influences and supports behavioral and emotional change.
- Leads monthly staff meetings.
- Administers grant and project income user fee funds.
- Maintains record of payments, balance statements and checks.
- Prepares Community Correction grant applications.
- Directs the development and administration of the department’s annual budget.
- Maintains department financial information, including ledger of receipts, processing vendor and mileage claims, calculating monthly financial reports and reporting collections and expenditures.
- Makes final decision on sanction actions.
- Collects payment of user fees and issues receipts.
- Performs duties of Home Detention Officer including performing field visits, surveillance, investigations, legal searches, completing IRAS and Case Plans, collecting drug and alcohol screening specimens and installing electronic monitoring equipment.
- Establishes Advisory Board Meetings, creating minutes and agendas and distributing.
Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate Degree in Criminal Justice or related field and/or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Pre-employment drug screen.
- Valid Indiana driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all standards as Special Deputy including completing mandated training as required by Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.
- Thorough knowledge of and ability to make practical application of rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Department and civil and criminal justice system.
