IT Project Manager

The Project Manager will work directly with the Government Contracting Officer to ensure success of all aspects of the project including team leadership, client relationships, management for CPAR scores and improvements, oversight of strategic initiatives, supporting proposal and capture activities, and other support responsibilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing, directing, and managing the portfolio of projects and all aspects of contract support functions involving multiple complex and inter-related project tasks, collaborating to ensure that the projects meet their objectives within the resources proposed.

The Project Manager will provide perform day-to-day management of contract deliverables and timeline and is responsible for the overall direction of program activities, including project planning, project financials, and staff direction. The Project Manager will manage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer’s

organization, consult with the Government Contracting Officer to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensure conformance with program and project task schedules and costs and contractual obligations.

The Project Manager will establish and maintain technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and customers, organize and assign responsibilities to subordinates, oversee the successful completion of all assigned tasks, and assume the initiative and provide support to marketing personnel in identifying and acquiring potential business.

Specific roles & responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

· Assist in reviewing, validating and updating the information used to manage the project in project management and reporting systems as requested and required.

· The successful leader will have demonstrated current and significant relationships with government executives and mid-level managers, particularly in complex information technology concepts.

· Strong leadership skills in inspiring, driving, and executing results through others.

· Implement, develop, and report operations and maintenance updates for the project, preparing memorandum, spreadsheets, calendars, and other artifacts, as needed

· Responsible for the overall management of the project and to ensure that the technical solutions and schedules in the contract are implemented in a timely manner.

· Performs enterprise wide horizontal integration planning and interfaces to other functional systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Project Management Professional (PMP)(Desired)

· Min. Years: 7 years of hands-on project management experience

· Min. Education: BA/BS in a technical or managerial discipline

SECURITY CLEARANCE: SECRET
