Full Job Description

The Installation Project Manager is responsible for daily flooring installation for residential customers. Will interact with installers, estimators, customers, store personnel and provide oversight when needed.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Review contracts to make sure correct materials and labor are assigned/purchased for the job
  • Review install details for each job with the appropriate installer before installation begin
  • Schedule and communicate installers’ next day assignments
  • Coach installers on customer feedback received on their projects
  • Review job assessments, rework when necessary
  • Visits job sites to check on the quality of installations
  • Resolve install issues

Requirements:

  • Flooring installation experience (at least 5 years, preferably at a lead installer or higher level)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Good computer skills (MS Office, floor estimating software)
  • Ability to resolve issues timely and with good judgment
