Job Title: Head of Operations and Technical Services

Job Summary:
The main area of focus for this position plant and laboratory management, including production, quality, environmental health and safety, engineering and maintenance.
Job Responsibilities:
Operations and Continuous Improvement Component
- Ensure compliance of operations o Ensuring respect and enforcement of quality system policies o Ensure that the products are manufactured in accordance with the quality system and within the prescribed time o Coordinate the activities of each service so as to meet the tasks of the order o Ensure the management of the environmental impact.
- Implement continuous improvement measures and contribute to quality management
- Perform any other task contributing to the improvement of the procedures
- Ensure the implementation, training and use of new software to optimize processes
- To ensure the secrecy of all the information possessed at the site of the factory, by controlling the accesses and by guaranteeing the integrity of the computer systems
Organizational Development Component
- Coordinate project development and monitoring activities and establish priorities o Make projects progress and establish priorities o Participate in the development of the plant including research and development projects o Collaborate in the development of products requested by management and/or by customers
- See the implementation of indicators of performance (KPI) for the factory o Establish, in collaboration with the managers of each service, individual and team objectives.
- Plan, organize, direct and control plant activities and resources
- Coordinate management reviews and bring in elements such as technology improvement and optimization opportunities
- Report activities from the factory to the senior management
- All other tasks requested
Qualifications and requirements:
- Masters Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Preferred
- Bachelors Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Required
- Experience of at least 10 years within similar functions, in a regulated manufacturing facility. (Pharmaceutical, Food, or Natural Health Product)
- Strong ability to analyze and strategically interpret results
- Superior communication skills
- Very good knowledge of strategic business processes
