Overview
The Quality Assurance function has the global mandate to confirm that all aspects of the internal audit activity are compliant with GA policies and standards, to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of GA’s activities and to identify opportunities for improvement. Reporting to the Head of Quality Assurance (HoQA), this Jacksonville based role requires strong team player as well as excellent communication and coordination capabilities and requires working closely with different levels of GA staff and teams globally.

Your Role
What You’ll Do:
- Reviewing audit files and findings closures for compliance with methodology and appropriateness of risk coverage
- Challenging procedures with the aim of improving effectiveness and efficiency and identifying and reporting themes and trends
- Take matters in hand when required (e.g. urgent ad hoc requests)
- Working in partnership with GA management
- Supporting the Head of Quality Assurance
- Working collaboratively with the other professional practices teams
Skills You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline and professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, CAMS, CFE, etc.) preferred
- Experience in an Internal Audit role covering financial services topics or extensive second line experience
- Wholesale banking knowledge or equivalent experience coupled with thorough understanding of the IIA standards, relevant degree and professional qualifications a plus
- Strong analytical competency with appreciation of risks, regulatory requirements and controls generically and specifically to banking
- Experience in the use of standard IT applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
