We are seeking a Freelance Project Manager to join our New York City office from January through April. Your role within the team will be to:
- Manage and facilitate all NYC award show entries across all departments.
- Work with multiple departments to obtain assets for each entry.
- Work with Creative Operations + Group Account Directors to help manage and distribute creative workload for NYC team.
- Gather entry plans and category details from Brand team to maintain master entry lists, and obtain final copies of submitted awards entries for historical files.
- Maintain comprehensive Excel lists of awards show entries and categories.
- Liaise with vendors to produce physical samples, printed posters and other imagery for entries.
- Manage awards show deadline calendar.
- Maintain JKR Asset Library.
Requirements
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would qualify. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of administrative or account or project coordinator / project manager experience-ideally at an agency.
- Previous experience entering advertising award shows is a must!
- Strong project management and organizational skills, keen attention to accuracy and detail.
- Flawless expertise with Outlook, Keynote, Word, Excel programs is required.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and good proofreader.
- Proven interpersonal skills. Applicants should have an outgoing and engaging personality.
- Adept at juggling multiple assignments and complex entries with many moving pieces, functioning well under pressure, and committed to managing and meeting deadlines.
