Position Purpose:
- The purpose of this position is, but is not limited to, overseeing operational aspects of the technology function for TASC. The Executive Vice President (EVP) of Technology Operations will oversee the day-to-day general operations of the organization’s computer systems, networks, programs, IT security, infrastructure and other technologies. The scope of the position includes all corporate computing systems, internal supporting systems, and operating, maintaining and enhancing the existing portfolio of customer facing applications.
- This is a full-time, exempt position working Monday through Friday with standard business hours and an on-call requirement. The position reports to our Chief Technology Officer.
Positional Responsibilities:
- Reports to the CTO on setting the short- and long-term objectives while providing the management necessary to achieve profits, growth, or other goals of the organization
- Oversees the integration of technology into business operations with the goal of using technology to improve operations or efficiency
- Oversees the planning, installation, operation and maintenance of information systems and equipment
- Keeps abreast of government regulations applicable to systems operations and ensures corporate compliance. Works with organizational leaders to develop operational technology plans, policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and standards
- Work closely with Chief Technology Officer and Operations to define and deliver product/technology enhancements for existing products and technology
- Leads shared IT services across infrastructure, DevOps, SysOps, desktop computing and support, IT Security, Portfolio Management and Planning
- Responsible for full life cycle system development, including physical infrastructure design, programming, integration, installation, and functionality testing to enhance and maintain existing products and technology
- Develops, tracks and controls the development of annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing and operations
- Collaborates with the SISO to manage and implement IT security standards, best practices, architecture and systems to ensure information system security as mandated by the Rashke Holdings Enterprise
- Responsible for the budgeting, vendor management, and contracting execution for IT partners
- Accountable and responsible for the organization’s PCI and NIST compliance plans and executing plans on adverse findings
- Responsible for ensuring the stability and partners for the FISMA environment for government contracts
- Implements processes and methods for auditing and addressing non-compliance to information security standards. Makes recommendations and assists in the implementation of changes to work methods and procedures to make them more effective or to strengthen security measures, ensuring security and compliance standards are met
- Develops policies governing business continuance, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing and service provisions, and support all company policies and procedures
- Responsible for recruiting the best and brightest technical talent to TASC
- Operate within TASC’s guidelines pursuant to the Employee Handbook and all Policies and Procedures
- Perform additional duties as requested by Supervisor and/or Management

Positional Competencies:
- Deep knowledge of technology environments, including networks, cloud computing (especially AWS), computer system characteristics, platform integrations, API’s, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications
- Ability to manage outsourced systems and information assurance/security
- Skilled in workforce planning strategies to include employees onsite, remote and offshore contractors
- Effective negotiation and vendor management skills
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with expectations to present technology issues and solutions to the President, CEO, and the Board of Advisors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field is required
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Technology Leadership role
- Previous experience in a technology development role preferred
- Previous experience in the technology division of the payments industry is a plus
- Experience leading a call center, telephony and remote employees is a plus
