Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is a fast-growing, venture-backed, Veterinary ER and Urgent care business. We are changing the face of Veterinary Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care. Our mission is simple, “helping people and their pets when they need it most”. We are based in Valhalla, NY and have a pet friendly (and people friendly ) office.
What We’re Looking For:
VEG is looking for a dynamic, organized, outgoing and hard-working Executive Assistant to the President. You will play a critical role at the company and have significant room for growth in the years ahead. You will provide administrative support to the President and other team members for their day to day needs. To be successful in the role, you’ll need to be able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Success in this role can lead to opportunities across the company.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as gatekeeper, including managing calendars to schedule both internal and external meetings and screening incoming emails and information
- Assisting with general overflow, special projects and day-to-day tasks
- Compiling and analyzing complex information for reports and preparing presentations
- Performing confidential administrative responsibilities
- Arranging travel itineraries for President and other team members
- Organize team communications and plan events, both internally and offsite
What We’ll Look For:
- Grit, Reliability, Urgency, Super Human Work Ethic, Growth Mindset
- +3 years of executive administration required
- Flexible team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge
- Google Suite or Microsoft Office skills required
- Organized and detail oriented with ability to interface with VEGGIES (what we call ourselves!) at all levels
- Ability to travel occasionally
- Ability to perform with only general instructions on new assignments and with minimal direction
