This critical role at Greenlight Guru owns the human resource function (employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee retention) and part owner of cultural experiences. Our team is everything. The goal of this position is to ensure we provide the ultimate employee experience for our team. You will work side by side with the COO to help develop and promote a great employee experience.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with the COO and business leaders to develop and execute strategies to ensure we are the Best Company to work for.
  • Develop and execute strategies to create a seamless, clear and ultimate employee experience from first contact (recruiting) through long-term employment.
  • Collaborate within the team to develop and drive strategic HR and Culture projects, initiatives, programs, systems, and improvements.
  • Manage activities that support the strategies to ensure full engagement, compliance, and adherence.
  • Provide clarity through processes to ensure the team knows what to do, when to do it, and how to do it.
  • Direct and oversee performance management process to include goal setting, new employee orientation, and performance reviews, as well as coaching managers on process and communication.
  • Direct and oversee career development for the organization. Coach and guide our managers to define and develop career paths for their team.
  • Direct and oversee professional development and training. Ensure we are making the right investments to continually promote professional and personal development that provide the highest value.
  • Provide fanatical support and coaching to ensure clarity around our strategies and processes throughout the organization.
  • Provide fanatical support by promptly responding to employee relations matters and inquiries.
  • Direct and oversee the employee benefits, including managing the annual renewal and open enrollment process. Work with the senior leadership team on budget and adjustments.
  • Direct and oversee the workflow, reporting and data integrity of HR Systems
  • Maintain knowledge and compliance with federal and state regulations, including reporting and record-keeping.
  • Manage and provide career development for the immediate team of human resources support staff.
  • Enter and submit payroll data for the regular pay period.
  • Ensure we are fully taking advantage of our training, edge and R&D grants through creating awareness, ensuring submission, managing the review and data management to submit to the necessary parties once a quarter. This role is responsible for entering the company-wide training such as professional development and providing the framework and support to gather all company training.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of recent human resources and management experience required.
  • Must have experience building and promoting highly functional cultures.
  • Demonstrate and uphold all of Greenlight Guru’s core values. Must be the model of our Vision, Mission, Values, Expected Behaviors and Vulnerability-based Trust in the Ultimate Employee Experience.
  • Experience in DiSC, Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team, and giving & receiving feedback is highly preferred.
  • Related bachelor’s degree required; PHR certification highly preferred.
  • Must be tech-savvy.
  • Must be able to be strategic and tactical.
  • Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized and able to multitask and deliver results in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment with very strict, changing deadlines.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills with the ability to communicate and connect with all levels of the organization providing a high level of customer service.
  • Must be extremely professional and poised, exercising independent judgment and discretion while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
  • Must have excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-Suite; experience with HRIS highly desirable.
  • Prior experience working in a fast-paced tech environment or related (with 50-200 employees).
  • Must be willing to work overtime when necessary.
