Director of Life Enrichment (Activities Director)

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Director of Life Enrichment plans, organizes, and implements all activity programs for the residents. including outings, lunch trips, Ageless Dream events and holiday celebrations. Individual will consult and work with other departments in developing appropriate activities as they relate to the physical, emotional and social needs of the individual residents. Coordinates resident activities and programs, which are sponsored by community groups. Responsible for developing and planning volunteer program. Works closely with other departments. Maintains appropriate records of residents socialization and interaction. Prepares and distributes a monthly activity calendar and newsletter.

• Ability to recognize and communicate problems within department, team members and supervisors.
• Ability to relate to the public, residents, families, team members and other professionals appropriately..
• Ability to communicate well, verbally and written.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet requirements of the job.
• Ability to perform assigned tasks in a neat, thorough and timely manner.
• Looks for ways to improve skills of self and team members and is active professionally.
• Maintains current drivers license
• Maintains current CPR
