We are immediately seeking a Furniture Sales Manager & Asst Manager
These positions are responsible for maximizing sales and delivering an exceptional guest experience. In this exciting role, you are leading the development of positive culture, creating lasting relationships while assisting design consultants and clients with the selection, customization, and purchase of merchandise. You will have the ability to read and navigate each clients need, and match that to the benefits of recommended merchandise – landing at the “perfect product for their space”.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure monthly sales goals and productivity standards for store is met.
- Demonstrates strong leadership abilities, product knowledge (rugs, furniture, accessories, fabrics, etc.) along with excellent customer connection and closing skills.
- Performs proactive and consistent follow-up on all areas related sales and guest requests.
- Lead, train and motivate all team members and develop – superstar associates.
- Promptly solves guest concerns.
- Performs all opening and closing duties as directed by management
- Accurately performs all systems functions and maintains operational standards
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma.
- Previous sales management experience
- Intermediate computer literacy
- Ability to work independently and multi-task with minimal supervision/self-motivated.
- Ability to train and develop direct reports and work well with others.
- Weekends and holidays Required.
