In conjunction with the Vice President/CNO and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, the Assistant Vice President participates in the: 1) Planning and designing of services 2) Direction of patient care services delivery 3) Improvement of nursing and organizational performance. New Jersey RN license and AHA BLS certification required. Graduate nursing education (MSN) required. Specialty certification as a nurse executive (NE-BC, NEA-BC) and/or behavioral health (RN-BC) preferred. A minimum of five years of progressive behavioral health nursing leadership experience in an acute care setting is required. Previous nursing leadership experience in areas that provide crisis services and treatment of eating disorders preferred.
