  • An established rock band of 15 talented special needs musicians who love making music and performing together seek an Assistant Music Director.
  • Hourly rate is based on experience-you will be paid for rehearsals and gigs.
  • The Band rehearses Mondays from 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm in San Jose, CA and performs at gigs. Monday rehearsal day and time is non-negotiable.The Assistant Director will join with our Band Director in further developing the skills, talents and repertoire of our dedicated musicians.
  • The Band has developed an eclectic repertoire including Beatles, Motwon, Country, Contemporary Hits, 70’s and 80’s music and more.
  • You must have a strong background in a range of musical styles, ideally with experience on one or more instruments and live performance.
  • Leadership, initiative, team building, positive coaching. patience, understanding of special needs and flexibility are requirements for this position.
