Clearbrook Inn Assisted Living is looking for an Activities Director. Our beloved Activity Director is retiring after working with us for eleven years! We are a well-established and highly reputable Assisted Living Community that has been serving residents of Kitsap County for over two decades. We have the opportunity to serve 48 resident apartments.

We are looking for a cheerful, optimistic, organized and motivated person who loves to enrich the lives of seniors.

The ideal team member would be an independent worker who will take lead in encouraging resident participation and spark creativity within our residents through programming. This team member will need to have excellent communication skills, be collaborative with other team members and strive to make our residents happy!

Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

· Design a creative and exciting activity program to meet group and individual needs taking into consideration the interests of the residents

· Prepare, post and distribute monthly calendar and newsletter

· Provide support for resident council meetings

· Driving residents on outings

· Coordinate community groups and volunteers for programs

· Collaborate with team members to host events for residents and community relations department.

· Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, integrity and respect.

· Maintains the activity budget, equipment and supplies

Requirement

-Experience working with seniors preferred

-Experience working in an activity program or other senior program preferred

· A positive, energetic attitude

· Planning and coordination skills

· Ability to perform physical tasks and exercise moves

· Ability to manage a volunteer program

· A valid driver’s license in good standing

· A desire to make a positive impact in our resident lives

· A commitment to meet the needs of our residents and the ability to become and expert and resource to residents and families
