SUMMARY:

The Westfall-Technik team is seeking a Vice President, Program Management who will be an extraordinary leader for our Program Manager organization, and Westfall-Technik team as a whole. As a Vice President, Program Management at Westfall-Technik, you will lead overall program management and strategy to ensure that our projects and programs are well planned and executed across Westfall-Technik. RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Lead Westfall-Technik program management community to drive Westfall-Technik’s project and program delivery

· Establish a strong collaborative culture with peers and other functions within Westfall-Technik.

· Promote a culture of success, pride, performance, discipline, and creativity

· Lead and instill a sense of urgency for product and process improvement to meet and exceed customer requirements

· Define how programs and projects are reported and reviewed

· Cultivate an Agile community of practice within our teams while actively driving PMO discussions on process updates and improvements

· Actively participate in product and design discussions with development teams across the entire company to help influence good design and on time delivery of features and products

· Run and lead the best program management organization

· Ensure successful delivery and execution of large complex projects and programs consisting of multiple cross-functional/ organizational teams

· Work through your team to handle multiple portfolios with a broad scope, to hit delivery targets, report on program status, risks, and paths to green

· Act in an encouraging role to mitigate risks, problem-solve, and run critical issues

· Provide leadership and performance management for a large team of Program Managers which includes hiring, OKR-setting, performance management and reviews, compensation, resource allocation, workload management, transitions, etc

· Provide coaching and mentoring to team members, including leadership, communication, prioritization, organization, and time management, for both individual contributors and managers

· Build strong relationships with Development, Product, Program, Design, and Quality peers

· Identify and improve cross-team gaps in processes and communication to ensure the successful end to end delivery of functionality at the team level, across organizational divides, and Westfall-Technik.

· Focus on identifying and solving specific process or cross-org challenges

· Define and report on all development and product metrics across Westfall-Technik.

REQUIREMENTS:

· 15 years of experience as a program manager and 10 years of leading and developing a team of program managers

· Strong leadership skills, especially the ability to lead through influence across functional and organizational lines

· Experience scaling an organization, large-scale planning, and complex product portfolio across a global engineering organization.

· Shown success leading a portfolio of products with different development cycles and timelines, at different stages of maturity and market impact.

· Has demonstrated ability in recruiting and retaining high performing technical teams

· Extraordinary leader and teammate who is comfortable with open-ended problems and ambiguity.

· Has strong presentation skills and the ability to present both business and technical information to a wide audience including customers, peers, and team.

· A committed leader who creates loyalty and trust. One who can energize people and teams and make cross-functional partnership happen. You are highly respected by all levels up, down, and across the organization

· Strong organizational, administrative, presentation and analytical skills
