A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE

Reporting directly to the Global CEO of Plans this role is responsible for the oversight of the global plans transformation programme to ensure clear operational governance and controls are established. The role is responsible for the execution of a three year global organisational transformation program portfolio in conjunction with the wider executive and management team. The role will be a key contributor in designing and developing the Global Plans strategy in line with the business ambitious growth targets. This will involve working closely with the Global CEO of Plans and will oversee a number of matrix transformation projects.

Primary Accountabilities
  • Collate and record the progress and issues of the multiple transformation programs and present them to the Plans CEO against stated deliverables and KPI’s
  • Designs and implement a global transformation tracking and delivery plan that effectively balances cost, risk, service quality and business growth.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Plans growth strategy, including definition of the vision, mission and strategic objectives for the business and engaging effectively senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Work closely with the Plans executive team to deliver clear and focused business plans for key strategic initiatives
  • Reviews projects and initiatives that will continually improve standards of service delivery, business unit efficiency, lower risk, increase profitability and lift competitive position.
  • Deliver transformation projects across the organization in line with business strategy to deliver required revenue growth, cost reduction, business improvement or regulatory compliance.
  • Contribute to the overall transformation program through strong people and financial leadership to ensure people are inspired and financial targets are achieved.
  • Working with the Global CEO of Plans and Plans CFD to lead, development, implementation and monitoring of the Plans balanced scorecard to actively track progress against the Plans strategic objectives and to facilitate communication of progress to colleagues and stakeholders, including the CPU Board
  • Act as a representative of the Global Plans CEO on designated steering committees of major transformation programs
  • Works closely with the Office of the Global CEO and other transformation teams to align governance across all program efforts.
  • Supports presentations to key decisions makers and investors.
  • Resolves issues, agrees priorities and sets direction as a key member of the Global Plans Team.
  • Support the Global Plans CEO on business development and M&A opportunities in conjunction with the Plans CFD

  • Delivery of the Plans transformation plan to time and to budget

  • Compliance with all applicable regulations within regions

  • KPIs achieved in line with business strategy, risk appetite and conduct risk metrics

  • Management of the programme risk profile

  • As part of our transition to a unified global Plans business, we also need a strong business leader to add value to business strategy and oversee the delivery of the transformation programmes goals to time and budget.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

Minimum two years’ experience in executive or senior management role with P&L responsibility at a regulated Financial Services company.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The role will initially require direct supervision of over 2,000 staff worldwide.

Language Ability
  • Ability to read/analyse/interpret complex documents; respond to sensitive inquiries/complaints; write speeches/articles using original techniques/style; make speeches/presentations on controversial/complex topics to mgmt./public groups/boards of directors.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
Mathematical Ability
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.

  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
