Job Summary

The Strategic Brand Relationship Director will lead the effort in building strong relationships with our existing key strategic partners as well as work with key brand partners that will positively impact results. S/he will work collaboratively with partners, sector leaders and Foodbuy to deliver added value in these partnerships.

  • Manages all aspects of the strategic relationships including ongoing development of programs & initiatives
  • Establish & Maintain key relationships and ongoing communication cadence with partners including tracking & reporting all progress
  • Works with Foodbuy to leverage purchasing power and maximize opportunity with partners
  • Establishes a success metrics model to analyze impact to operations and overall business objectives
  • Working closely with the VP of Brand Partnerships, this role will play a strategic role in optimizing relationships and value to the our key brand partnerships via:
  • Acting as brand “expert” in Compass, with deep understanding of brand process to lead Compass field teams introduction and education as new projects come to life
  • Operational oversight and project management
  • Support communications and tracking progress through key initiatives
  • Lead activity to get impactful brand information to our field teams
  • Social media posts, MyCompass features, case studies


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of retail brand implementation and operations experience including project management, contracting, financial and metrics reporting experience for a large corporation.
  • A background understanding operations which enables field-friendly and executable development that positively impact guest experience
  • Base understanding of the financial components of contract foodservice and origins of revenue, margins, costs and risks
  • Capable of working both independently as well as part of a cross functional team; Self starter with outstanding organizational and planning skills
  • A strong track record as an implementer who thrives on managing a variety of key initiatives concurrently; must be agile, flexible and deadline oriented with the ability to work under pressure
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to adjust content across stakeholders from C-suite level to field and line workers
  • Ability to balance business priorities with best practices and implementation methodologies
  • Must be willing to travel as needed which could include extensive travel at times
