Primary Responsibilities:
- Survey existing conditions and/or prepare existing documentation
- Confer with client to determine factors affecting planning interior environments such as budgets, programmatic considerations and architectural brand identity.
- Advise client of interior design factors such as space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings, equipment and color coordination.
- Formulate schematic plans, elevations and exterior renderings to be practical, aesthetic and conducive to enriching brand strategy as well as balancing the budgets and brand values.
- Render design ideas in form of renderings, sketches and drawings.
- Estimate material requirements and costs and present design to client for approval.
- Work with local architects and contractors to help facilitate the development and constructions of these retail dealerships. This is handled through conference calls, site visits and web communication.
- Represent the agency in a professional manner in-person and in written and verbal communications.
- Deal with complex situations and resolve client issues and concerns.
- Handle stressful situations while maintaining composure.
- Organically grow accounts with additional profitable opportunities for the agency.
- Prepare appropriate bidding of proposals based on factual data and establish a profitable bid to the agency.
- Conduct contracted work based on bid pricing and agreed work output while generating project profitability within the initial bid.
- Review invoices for overall accuracy while maintaining internal ledger for items concern/review.
Travel
Overnight will be expected up to 35%.
Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in architecture or interior architecture

7-10 years related architecture experience

Proficiency in Revit

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

At least five years of project management experience in an architectural setting
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master’s Degree in Architecture

Master’s Degree in Architecture

Registered architect in the state of MI.
