Position Description
Citnalta Construction Corp. is seeking to bring on an experienced Project Manager.

Primary Responsibilities
- Promote a culture of construction safety in all activities;
- Managing and coordinating all aspects of a public works construction project, generally in the $30MM-100MM range;
- Maintain adherence to project schedule and identify project risks;
- Produce thorough forecasts of costs-to-complete project based on progress of project;
- Establish an effective schedule of values for project with a focus on strong cash flow;
- Process payment requisition packages with project owner;
- Oversee the subcontractor requisition process;
- Manage trade/subcontractor schedules and relationships;
- Work with scheduler to map the CPM schedule of the project and produce requisite two-week lookaheads;
- Oversee the use of Procore by the construction team;
- Work directly with owner project officers to effectively communicate throughout construction process;
- Oversee owner change order process – including negotiating with project owner to recoup relevant general contractor and subcontractor costs;
- Manage overall budget of project including change orders, subcontractor commitments, self-perform construction, materials, and equipment;
- Act as a coach and leader to construction project team demonstrating an adherence to Citnalta’s values of integrity, hard work, passion and professionalism;
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in public works (extensively with MTA & NYCSCA)
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with ground up construction
- 5+ years experience managing personnel
Preferred
- Procore experience
- Degree in engineering, architecture or business
- A natural leader that works with various partners to advance a project while also acting as a coach and mentor to peers at the organization
