- Oversee and manage project progress and financials.
- Generate reports on projects for principal investigator and other stakeholders.
- Maintaining Microsoft Project based project management tools, system and data.
- Generate purchase requests and manage.
- subcontractors, vendors and suppliers.
- Participate in writing, reviewing and editing project proposals.
- Additional duties may be assigned.
- BS in engineering, science, or engineering management.
- Three or more years of experience in project management.
- Fluent in Microsoft Project.
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting and scheduling.
- Demonstrated experience in writing, reviewing and editing project proposals.
- Advanced degree in engineering, science, or engineering management.
- Project management or system engineering experience in large scale optical, astronomy and/or aerospace systems.
- Demonstrated experience in earned value based management.
