Position Summary
Responsible for meeting deadlines and financial expectations of multiple construction projects by providing overall management. Accountable for achieving client satisfaction and succeeding in building long-term relationships that results in new or repeat business opportunities. Responsible for being the main point of contact to clients that result in new and repeat business development opportunities.
Essential Duties
- Responsible for the project teams being in place and excellent.
- Responsible for championing performance management. Execute best in class performance management processes throughout your group.
- Responsible for the strategic plan execution. Lead the organization(s) toward strategic objectives and the support to the Customer Value Focus Area working groups.
- Responsible working to turn Pipeline opportunities or preconstruction assignments into hardened construction start dates.
- Responsible for turning out excellent schematic estimates that set up the entire process through construction and that operations executives own results. They are supported by preconstruction/estimating.
- Responsible for taking on the Team Leader project assignment for multiple projects.
- Responsible for being the main point of contact with clients through preconstruction and construction.
- Responsible for purchasing. Negotiate and understand subcontractor contracts. Provide recommendations to leadership for acceptance.

- Responsible for utilizing company owned equipment to maximize profit opportunities.
- Responsible for best in class project accounting and project management systems on all of your projects.
- Informed of the insurance and surety relationships.
- Accountable for implementing corporate policies, procedures, and organizational structure within the framework of broad corporate policy.
- Accountable for company’s operations procedures and policies.
- Accountable to ensure safety, customer service, quality, schedule, production efficiency and cost-effective management of resources are best in class for your projects.
- Responsible for ensuring legal and operational issues are resolved before they escalate in real time.
- Responsible for annual business planning, to include overhead budgeting.
- Consulted on the organized labor relations management.
Qualifications
Education / Experience:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution in related field; or minimum of 15 years as a successful Senior Project Manager; or a minimum of 30 years equivalent experience in a construction industry, required.
- Worked on multiple projects with financial obligation and client presentation successful experience from start to finish, required.
Knowledge:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, required.
- Proficiency on Microsoft Project Scheduling and/or Primavera Scheduling Software, required.
- Construction software usage, Contract Documents and Job Documentation, required.
- Government and Market regulations, preferred
- Understanding of Project Labor Agreements, preferred
- Exposure to multiple factors within construction industry, required
- Understanding of Cost/Estimating/Scheduling, required.
