Description:
Iron Bow Technologies is currently looking for a Program Manager to lead a strategic, enterprise wide Unified Communications (UC) integration opportunity at the Social Security Administration, in Baltimore, MD. This dedicated Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the SSA’s Video Enterprise Systems Integration (VESI) contract, during their transition to a state of the art UC solution.
An Iron Bow Program Manager provides management and guidance to customer facing Program Resource Teams interfacing regularly with Sales, Sales Engineering, Project Management and Operations to assist in resolving issues, improving processes and increasing productivity. The Program Manager is responsible for providing overall program oversight and project execution for assigned territories to include developing an understanding of client business needs, achieving customer confidence and satisfaction, providing thought leadership, exploring ways to expand and grow solutions, maintaining profitability and growing service opportunities with clients.
The Program Manager should be based within commuting distance from Baltimore, MD.
Responsibilities:
The Program Manager shall oversee the on-site Iron Bow team responsible for the overall VESI project. The Program Manager shall oversee and authorize, on behalf of the Contractor, all actions taken during the contract, including, but not limited to, overall life cycle program management, resource allocation, billing and invoicing, and meeting project milestone objectives.The Program Manager is required to be on-site for an 8-hour shift beginning, 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. In addition to the on-site hours, the Program Manager shall be on call from 6:00 AM through 9:00 PM, local time. The Program Manager shall work directly with the SSA Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR) to coordinate activities.
The Program Manager shall have the following responsibilities at a minimum:
- Serve as the single point of contact for all matters related to the VESI contract;
- Manage all activities, allocation of resources, projects and new solutions associated with the VESI and report directly to the COTR on all projects;
- Oversee all personnel activities associated within the VESI;
- Create, manage, and complete all trouble tickets associated with the VESI;
- Oversee Iron Bow’s utilization of SSA’s Change, Asset, and Problem Reporting System (CAPRS) and for all CAPRS reporting to the COTR;
- Ensure accuracy of all agency owned databases (e.g. asset management system or EDL);
- Work cooperatively with agency’s components and other contractors affecting the services and support of the VESI contract;
- Coordinate maintenance activities, scheduling, assignments, performance, ordering, staging, deliverables, billing, training, subcontracting and any other activities associated with the daily performance of the VESI contract;
- Coordinate and facilitate weekly status meetings which include an agenda, and post meeting minutes and action items;
- Identify and present to the COTR technical trends applicable to the VESI contract;
- Assist the agency in developing a communication strategy for incorporating the agency’s video endpoints into AD in order to facilitate scheduling of video resources through Outlook;
- Work with video stakeholders to update AD accounts and/or add AD accounts for video users as needed during and after the interoperability solution deployment;
- Train contractor staff on the agency’s asset management system.
General
- Identify client strategic business and technical objectives, operational goals and assess ways to drive services delivery, staff augmentation, project execution and consultative services
- Map client environment (hardware, software, key applications) and pin point gaps by conducting “opportunity analysis”.
- Develop strategic trust relationship with clients and key stakeholders to position Iron Bow consultative service engagements to include mining for additional revenue streams.
- Work closely with and serve as an extension of Iron Bow Account Teams
- Work closely with internal engineering, project resource management and external strategic service partners to provide consistent, high-quality service to assigned clients.
- Manage customer facing program resources
- Work closely with Iron Bow recruiting to ensure program service staffing positions are fulfilled
- Work closely with Recruiting, Legal & Contracts, Human Resources and Corporate FSO, to ensure contractor compliance with corporate policies and procedures
- Perform written yearly performance reviews for all direct reports, more often may be required
- Conduct quarterly business reviews for assigned territory and programs
- Conduct monthly lessons learned and intelligence gathering sessions identifying sales opportunities for assigned territories.

- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Project, Microsoft Project and Excel are a must

Education and / or Experience:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certified or Program Management Professional (PgMP) and/or at least 5 years’ experience working on contracts of this magnitude.
