TRAX International (TRAX) is preparing a proposal for future performance of the Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) Test Support Services contract in Aberdeen, MD. TRAX is a large business that has supported the Department of Defense since 1979 and currently performs services for the Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) at Yuma Proving Ground, AZ; White Sands Missile Range, NM; Fort Hood TX; Ft Greely, AK; and in the Republic of Panama. Job Description/Duties

Manages the overall technical activities of a large contractor branch/division of engineers and technicians assigned to perform support services related to C5ISR test and evaluation at Aberdeen Proving Ground ATC. Responsible for planning, scheduling, and application of personnel and equipment resources to meet customer test activities. Assess test plans in terms of resource and workload allocations, resolve conflicts, updating milestone schedules, and ensuring adequate and timely test support is available. Assess projected workloads, compare to available resources in terms of numbers and available skills, and confer with Army ATC personnel on issues and need to supplement resources. Assesses the capabilities of the workforce and recommends specific training to contiguously improve performance and keep pace with evolving technologies. Ensures adherence and compliance with Army, APG, ATC regulations and procedures. Reports directly to the TRAX ATC Program Manager. Qualifications Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Must have 15 years’ experience with 5 years in research, development or test and evaluation; or must have a BS Degree and 9 years experience with 5 years in research, development or test and evaluation; or a MS Degree and 7 years’ experience with 5 years in research, development or test and evaluation.
  • 3 years’ experience managing 50 or more people in a technical environment.
  • Specific experience in the testing and/or development of C5ISR related systems is highly desirable.
