Job Summary

Job Summary:

Working as a Compliance Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the understanding and adherence to the Facilities Management Program requirements for all managers and staff within the Facilities Management department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implements system plan to ensure the accounts are in compliance
  • Ensures system wide all staff are understanding and adherence to FM Program requirements
  • Ensures consistent and accurate Team Docs & Team Ops documentation of FM work activities
  • Establishes system wide QA Matrix to include specific KPI measures and reporting frequencies
  • Proactively monitors and reports KPI prior to becoming non-compliant issues
  • Routinely validates via audit data integrity and KPI measurements
  • Develops, monitors, and reports performance improvement action plans as warranted with input from UD’s and RDO’s
  • Randomly collects, reviews, and analyzes data in reference to EOC reports on accounts on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis via reporting
  • Randomly checks work-order documentation on accounts on a weekly/monthly basis via reporting
  • Utilizes knowledge of and experience with all relevant regulatory agencies and standards to develop and ensure that the FM Program constantly remains in compliance with The Joint Commission, CAP, DNV, CLIA, AOA, NFPA 99, NY State and other applicable agency requirements
  • Provides system-wide regulatory support
  • Performs pre-Joint Commission/Deemed Status inspections of facilities prior to the actual regulatory survey
  • Ensures appropriate documentation is in place per Facilities Management Plan standards
  • Assists with Annual EOC Evaluations
  • Performs annual Compliance Audits at each facility
  • Provides periodic Compliance Reviews and presents to Directors and RDO


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must possess proven knowledge of Facilities Management Operational Policy and Procedures
  • Must possess proven knowledge of Plant Operations functionality
  • Must possess previous healthcare compliance knowledge
  • Must maintain current knowledge of the contents and navigation of the FM Web Portal
  • Must have the experience and ability to work with senior level leadership while exhibiting a high level of confidence
  • Business skills to deal effectively with all personnel and clients
  • Leadership ability, proven with experience
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, clients and customers
  • Ability to use Excel and Word programs effectively
