    Dancetalk Network (DTN) is excited to announce the creation of its new Apprenticeship Program. This new apprentice program is a great opportunity to begin or exceed at a career in a specialized industry by being a part of history, helping to create a vision AND while earning a paycheck.

    The DTN Apprenticeship Program is a three-month program where selected candidates grow through development of high demand facets, fast-paced everchanging work environment, knowledge, relationship building across the production and post-production pipeline, and climbing to the next ring on the ladder. The core focus of this program is to acclimate employees into the DTN work field within a 3-month transition period to ensure both DTN and the employee are a good fit and have a thorough understanding how the company is envisioned. strengthen support skills, including administrative and project management, while gaining essential experience to further develop understanding of network branding and workflows. In essence a Probationary Period.

    ROLE:

    This position will support the Chief Operating Officer and team. This position will manage business-related tasks for the Chief Operating Officer, such as scheduling, creating reports, drafting and sending communication, organizing travel and accommodation, taking minutes, and other organizational tasks. To do this role properly you should have a detailed understanding of the full Microsoft Office suite and a High stress tolerance – must be able to thrive in a high-pressure environment. Must be available to travel.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Organize and coordinate the Chief Operating Officer and Operations team calendar and tasks.
    • Assist with expense reports as requested.
    • Answering phones and routing calls to the correct person or taking messages.
    • Handling basic bookkeeping tasks.
    • Manage event hosting tasks on behalf of the Chief Operating Officer
    • Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reports.
    • Researching and conducting data to prepare documents for review and presentation by boards of directors, committees, and executives.
    • Manage special projects as assigned.
    • Set meeting agendas, and following up on the completion of tasks. Planning team building events.
    • Screening and prioritizing communications, both external and internal.
    • Preparing agendas, reports, presentations, and other important materials.
    • Accurately recording minutes from meetings.

    Even better if you have:

    • Ability to work a camera
    • Ability to work well independently and under pressure.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to focus on the details.
    • Prepared executive presentations, communications, and reports.
    • Managed multiple projects and priorities for yourself and others.
    • Three or more years providing executive level support.
    • Experience with G Suite.
    • Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation and project management software.
    • Reading and analyzing incoming memos, submissions, and distributing them as needed.
    • Making travel arrangements for executives.
    • Performing office duties that include ordering supplies and managing a records database.
    • Opening, sorting and distributing incoming faxes, emails, and other correspondence.
    • Provide general administrative support.
